This new top floor project is the brainchild of Sandi Hodkinson, a professional photographer with over 30 years’ experience behind the lens. Having worked across countless commercial, portrait, and creative shoots, Sandi saw the need for an affordable, professional, and flexible creative space in Manchester.
Budget Studio Hire was built on that vision – making high-quality facilities accessible not only to established professionals, but also to up-and-coming photographers, videographers, content creators, and businesses looking to produce standout visual content without the premium price tag.
Our intimate studio space designed for high-quality photographic audio & video production. Perfect for commercial product & fashion shoots with versatile lighting options for a wide range of creative projects.
Our uniqely styled different backgrounds, ideal for photo, video & podcast recordings, utilise the different props, to create your bespoke backdrop.
Take complete control of our facility for large-scale productions, workshops, or events requiring maximum space and privacy. Exclusive access to both floors recommended for uninterrupted sound recordings.
Until the end of October, we’re offering 4 x 2-hour Tuesday booking slots for the Ground Floor or First Floor studios individually (whole building hire not included in this offer).

Budget Studio Hire is just a 10 minute car journey from Manchester city centre and is only 2 minutes from the M60 ring road. Stretford tram station is situated within walking distance from the studio and the Stretford Mall provides ample parking and provisions for the day’s hire. There is one parking space available directly outside the studio and for larger crews alternative parking can be arranged.
